A cruise advisor for
Rushford, Winona & La Crosse.
I’m Justin, a dad of four boys in Rushford. I help families around the Driftless and the river towns plan and book cruises, and it doesn’t cost you extra.
Who I am
I live in Rushford, Minnesota with my wife and our four boys. I’m an independent travel advisor with Fora Travel, and I run Miles to Paradise. I help families and couples who’d rather have one real person handle the cruise details. I work with people online and over the phone, so you don’t have to drive anywhere.
What I do for a cruise
- Compare sailings and cabin categories across cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, which I write about most.
- Price it all-in (taxes, port fees, gratuities) so there are no surprises.
- Look for advisor perks and promotions that match your sailing.
- Book it directly with the cruise line. Your deposit goes to them, never to me.
- Keep an eye on the fare until final payment and ask for any price drop or upgrade that applies.
- Help with a pre-cruise hotel night if you’d like one.
It doesn’t cost you extra. The cruise line pays my commission. Here’s a plain explanation of how cruise agents get paid.
What I don’t do
I don’t book shore excursions, tours or shuttles, and I don’t book flights as part of a cruise booking. If you want to learn how to use points for flights, I have free guides on that, like how to fly to your cruise port with points.
Getting to the ship from Southeast Minnesota
From Southeast Minnesota, getting to a port usually means a flight out of Minneapolis (MSP), Rochester (RST) or La Crosse (LSE), or a drive to a nearby port. Whichever way you go, I recommend arriving the day before the ship sails. I’m glad to help with a pre-cruise hotel night.
Tell me about your sailing.
One short form. I’ll reply within 24–48 hours with options and all-in pricing. No fee, no obligation.
